Re-Active Youth for a new era of Europe is a network of 15 organizations from 14 different European countries.This network is supported by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ programme, with direct funding.
The main objective of this network is to be able to work together to defend an idea: a European Union for young people, for youth workers, for youth organizations and local entities, in which they can have easy and simple access to tools such as funds, cultural exchange and other learning experiences.
In the first year of life of this network of organizations, a series of intellectual outputs will be produced, which will serve as a basis for boosting youth participation in the political life of the European Union, as well as raising awareness among young people about the need to be active and digitally aware citizens.
With the creation of this project and its implementation through the network of 15 organisations, the following objectives are to be achieved:
An in-depth research has been carried out which has collected data gathered from 14 different countries and from the European Union as a whole, and which has served as the basis for creating a report outlining the needs and shortcomings of young people with regard to their form and involvement in active and digital citizenship.
Based on the results obtained in the research, a methodology has been developed that will be used by youth workers and other youth organisations to improve the involvement of young people in their environment.
Online trainings have been created so that young people from all over Europe can become youth workers in their community. In addition, other training to enable experienced youth workers to become E-leaders to have a greater impact on the local and European community.
In order to improve the methodology developed, it has been tested at local level in order to improve it.
All the results obtained will be disseminated in order to obtain a greater repercussion and impact.
